These terms apply to purchases from Safety Furst for Dogs through our website. Please read them before placing an order.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

1. Placing an order

Please check your selected product, size, delivery address and contact details before paying.

An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. Your order is accepted when we send a dispatch confirmation, at which point a contract is formed.

If we cannot accept your order, for example because an item is unavailable, we will contact you and refund any payment taken.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

If we discover a pricing error before accepting your order, we will contact you. You can choose whether to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Changes to prices do not affect orders already accepted.

3. Product descriptions and sizing

We aim to describe our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen.

Please measure your dog and refer to the size guide before ordering. If you need help choosing a size, email us.

Minor visual differences do not affect your right to receive goods that match their description.

4. Harness Use, Safety and Care

Owners are responsible for selecting the correct harness size, checking its fit and supervising their dog appropriately.

Before each use, check the harness, buckles, straps and lead attachments for damage or wear. Ensure all fastenings are secure and the tracking pocket is properly closed. Stop using the harness if it is damaged or no longer fits securely.

No harness is escape-proof. Safety Furst for Dogs does not guarantee that a harness will prevent a dog from escaping, going missing, being stolen or suffering injury.

Always remove the tracking tag or any other electronic device before washing the harness. Follow the supplied care instructions and allow the harness to dry fully before reinserting the device.

The rainproof pocket is not intended for submersion and does not make the tracking device waterproof.

5. Complimentary Tracking Tag

A tracking tag is included with every harness at no additional charge. An Apple AirTag is not included.

The included tag is an additional locating aid. It is not a guarantee of your dog’s safety, continuous location monitoring or successful recovery.

Before relying on the tag, you must:

Check that your phone and app are compatible.
Follow the manufacturer’s activation and pairing instructions.
Test that the tag is working.
Check its battery and relevant app settings regularly.
Secure it inside the pocket and keep it out of reach of dogs and children.

Tracking performance depends on the device’s technology, battery, settings and availability of compatible networks or nearby devices. Location information may be delayed, approximate or unavailable. Do not assume that the tag provides live GPS tracking.

Third-party apps and networks are operated by their respective providers. Safety Furst for Dogs does not control their availability or guarantee uninterrupted service.

The tag does not replace appropriate supervision, a secure lead, microchipping or required identification.

The tag’s inclusion at no additional charge does not affect your statutory rights concerning goods supplied with your purchase.

6. Delivery

Available delivery options, costs and estimated timeframes are shown before purchase. Please also read our Shipping Policy.

Unless a different delivery timeframe is agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days of your order.

Where we arrange delivery, the goods remain our responsibility until they reach you or someone you nominate to receive them.

If an order is delayed, missing or damaged in transit, contact us so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate solution.

7. Cancelling your order

For standard online purchases, you can cancel without giving a reason from the time you order until 14 days after the day you receive your goods.

If goods from one order arrive separately, the cancellation period generally ends 14 days after the day you receive the last item.

To cancel, email safetyfurstfordogs@hotmail.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel and your order details.

You do not need our approval to exercise your cancellation right. You may use the cancellation form below, but it is optional.

Once you notify us, you must return the goods within a further 14 days. Contact us for return instructions and the return address.

8. Returning a change-of-mind purchase

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning a change-of-mind purchase.

You may inspect the goods as you reasonably would in a shop. Please avoid outdoor use, washing or other handling beyond what is necessary to check the product.

We may deduct an amount for any loss in value caused by excessive handling, where the law allows. Opening packaging or reasonably inspecting the product does not automatically remove your cancellation right.

Please return all items supplied as part of the cancelled purchase, including any included tracking tag. Where a tag has been paired, please remove it from your account before returning it.

Keep proof of postage until your return has been resolved.

9. Refunds for cancellations

If you cancel your whole order, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. We do not have to refund the extra cost of an upgraded delivery service.

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first.

If no goods were dispatched, we will refund you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

Refunds will use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We will not charge a refund fee.

10. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

We are responsible for supplying goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, email us with your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs can help but are not a condition of your rights.

You normally have a 30-day right to reject goods that do not meet these requirements and receive a refund. After this period, repair or replacement rights may apply, followed in appropriate circumstances by a price reduction or refund.

We will cover reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged or incorrect goods.

Ordinary wear or damage caused by misuse is not necessarily a product fault. This does not limit your rights where an item was defective or insufficiently durable.

11. Exchanges

If you would like a different size or design, please email us to discuss availability.

Your cancellation and faulty-goods rights apply independently of any exchange arrangement.

12. Responsibility and Limitations

Safety Furst for Dogs does not provide a dog-monitoring, search, rescue or recovery service. Purchasing or using our products does not create a guarantee that your dog will remain secure or be found if lost.

We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not caused by our breach of contract, negligence or failure to meet our legal obligations. This includes circumstances arising solely from incorrect fitting, misuse, failure to follow care

instructions or independent third-party actions.

A dog going missing does not, by itself, establish that our product was defective or that we are responsible. Equally, these terms do not exclude responsibility where a product defect, our negligence or a breach of our obligations causes foreseeable loss or damage.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights, liability for fraud, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Website content

Website text, photographs, branding and designs belong to Safety Furst for Dogs or their respective owners.

You may use our website for personal shopping and information. Please do not copy or reuse its content commercially without permission.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website and customer interactions.

15. Questions and complaints

Please email safetyfurstfordogs@hotmail.com with your order number, if applicable, and details of your concern.

We will review the issue and work with you towards a fair resolution.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere, this does not remove mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live or any right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in place when you order will apply to that purchase.
